This sure wasn't as easy as flying a kite! (if there is a saying like this). i never found kite-flying easy anyway and this cover design was no exception. There were quite a few options i sent out before the one chosen was taken in.
The ones that were not selected (i hate to use the work rejected) are also put up. Anyone want a framed painting for that blank wall . . .!
Right now, i like moving away from the photograph dominated cover design, if i HAVE to use photos then i'd like to play around, tweak, sort-of mess around the image a bit (my way of doing things). Though i can't do this for all types of books. Maybe i could have thrown in an image or two for the finally selected cover, but pure vector illustration has it's pull! what say?
