This is a series title. I'm trying to retain the circle form on Dattani covers, there's another title coming up but this will have an image i'm told, will still try to keep the cirle.
I saw some of the covers done by you. First of all why are you restricting yourself to retain the circle. I feel the illustrations look very techie and i would certainly not pick it up thinking it is a play.
I feel it does not give any space to my imagination. they lack feel and look quite clinical. I feel you should break out of the mould and explore your innerself rather than exploring the visual entity of a circle since it will restrict your expression which is the essense of any graphic design.
Thanks for the forthright comments. Always appreciate feedback, esp. when honest.
I have been getting some flak for the Dattani covers, which makes me look at them critically and from a distance. All the feedback has been immensely helpful. You must be a designer, couldn't source your blog though. Anyplace I can see your work?
